The Morton Matrimony

Kristen insists that this site is dead. I tell her it’s not, but she has what some may call a “stubborn side,” but she’d refer to it as “the ability to be right, a lot.”

It’s difficult to post to a site about marriage when you’re not even married, yet. Though in her mind, this wedding has come and gone. She’s played it out in her imagination from the bridesmaids to the music to the Best Man drunkenly stumbling throughout the reception. She even made me practice how I’m going to kiss her.

So where to begin? Well, we have engagement photos to go up (though I accidentally threw away the disk with the photos on it). Hopefully, I’ll recover those. Soon thereafter, we’ll have wedding photos, and maybe some pictures of our new apartment and our stupid cat, Jack.

But this is not just a photoblog. Oh no. We’ll also share stories about being married - petty arguments of “who said what to who first” or “the big take out the trash fight of 2009.” Maybe some David/Kristen recipes. Who knows?

So if you’ve come here in the past and been annoyed that the site is dead, rest assured, it’s not dead. It’s just beginning.
